Mission, Vision & Goals
Our overall goal is to support our Dunwoody Police Department in
maintaining and improving public safety in the City of Dunwoody.
VISION
The Dunwoody Police Foundation is an independent, non-partisan
501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving policing by financially
supporting the Dunwoody Police Department and its personnel.
The Dunwoody Police Foundation is proud to support the Dunwoody Police Department.
GOALS
Emergency Aid Program
Provide financial assistance to Dunwoody Police Officers who sustain injuries in the line of duty. Provide funds or other assistance based on the specific needs of the officer and/or their family
members.
Community-Oriented Partnerships
To enhance community safety in Dunwoody by fostering partnerships & collaborative efforts between the City of Dunwoody, businesses and residents to help create a safer community.
Equipment and Training
To facilitate the purchase of specialized equipment and training that is in keeping with the Dunwoody Police Department’s mission.
Educational Assistance
To provide educational assistance or professional training for the officers of DPD, supplementing the City of Dunwoody’s plan with possible expansion of assistance to family members.
